|About the Program:|
The Hochschule is distinguished by application-based teaching and research as well as by a strong practical aspect. The aim of this practical orientation is flexibility, i.e. to apply the theoretical and methodological to knowledge-gained specific professional problems. This adaptability is systematically trained for in courses at the University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule). 4,300 students are enrolled at the university.
Business and Engineering students are especially attracted to Germany, and the Hochschule in Emden is a beautiful, friendly and quality place to spend a semester or two. Plan ahead by enrolling in a German class at NDSU. With international students from around the globe, Hochschule is the place to make new friends, gain international experience and see the world.
Students also have the opportunity to do a work placement program in Emden.
