|About the Program:|
The Hochschule is distinguished by application-based teaching and research as well as by a strong practical aspect. The aim of this practical orientation is flexibility, i.e. to apply the theoretical and methodological to knowledge-gained specific professional problems. This adaptability is systematically trained for in courses at the University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule). With international students from around the globe, Hochschule is the place to make new friends, gain international experience and see the world.
Excellent teaching and study programs with an international profile are seen here as essential elements in the education of young scientists for a globalized knowledge-based society. Research, technology transfer and continuing education – particularly in their established areas of specialization – serve among other aspects to provide stimuli for new businesses or new directions in existing business and society.
Hochschule Emden has locations in the cities in the state of Lower Saxony, including the location in Emden and Leer. Emden was founded in the year 800 AD and has been one of Germany's major seaports throughout history.
Business and Engineering students are especially attracted to Germany, and the Hochschule in Emden is a beautiful, friendly and quality place to spend a semester or two. Plan ahead by enrolling in a German class at NDSU. With international students from around the globe, Hochschule is the place to make new friends, gain international experience and see the world.
