However, the mission is greater—Linköping University is a national and international player. About Linköping, Sweden

The city of Linköping is more than 700 years old, but at the cutting edge of green technology. In coordination with Linköping University and the technology industry, the city is working to become carbon neutral by 2025. A historic cathedral and small castle are surrounded by shopping, dining, art, sporting, and other fun opportunities.     Students studying abroad at LiU may enroll in courses taught in either English or Swedish. International students also have the opportunity to enroll in beginner or intensive Swedish language classes.
