NSE Domestic Programs

National Student Exchange (NSE)

Study on another campus in the United States, Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands while paying the same tuition as you would studying at NDSU. You may also study abroad through NSE where you pay the host tuition and fees, such as Hawaii. Study for a single semester or academic year at one of 200 NSE participating colleges and universities. You can also chose to participate in both NSE and study abroad programs during your time at NDSU. Applications for NSE are due March 1 for study during the upcoming fall, academic year, and spring semesters.

Domestic Programs (Field Trips)

Study Abroad Services also works to enable course-required short-term domestic travel. As you are getting ready to go, our office is here to support your financial planning and travel preparations. Faculty who are planning their domestic programs can find more information under the Faculty and Advisors page.


LA 272 Winnipeg Study Tour, February 23 - 25, 2022

The program cost is covered under differential tuition for Landscape Architecture majors. Those who are Landscape Architecture minors will see a program fee of $400 appear on their spring 2022 semester account. By completing the application in full, students are committing to participating in the program and will be responsible for the full program cost within 7 days of submitting the application. Within 7 days of submitting your application, if you no longer plan to attend you must email both the program leader and ndsu.studyabroad@ndsu.edu to indicate your withdrawal.
 



ADHM 489 NYC Virtual Study Tour, February 23 - 25, 2022

Students that have been approved to participate in the ADHM 489 NYC Virtual Study Tour will have $350 course fee billed to their student accounts during spring 2022 semester. By completing the application in full, students are committing to participating in the program and will be responsible for the full program cost within 7 days of submitting the application. Within 7 days of submitting your application, if you no longer plan to attend you must email both the program leader and ndsu.studyabroad@ndsu.edu to indicate your withdrawal.
 



ADHM 460, Career Development and Professional Practice Twin Cities, October 11 - 13, 2021

Students that have been approved to participate in the ADHM 460 Career Development and Professional Practice Study Tour will have $444 course fee billed to their student accounts during fall 2021 semester. By completing the application in full, students are committing to participating in the program and will be responsible for the full program cost within 7 days of submitting the application. Within 7 days of submitting your application, if you no longer plan to attend you must email both the program leader and ndsu.studyabroad@ndsu.edu to indicate your withdrawal.
 



ARCH 771, Advanced Architectural Design San Francisco, September 7 - 11, 2021

Students that have been approved to participate in the ARCH 771 Advanced Architectural Design San Francisco will have $400 course fee billed to their student accounts during fall 2021 semester. By completing the application in full, students are committing to participating in the program and will be responsible for the full program cost within 7 days of submitting the application. Within 7 days of submitting your application, if you no longer plan to attend you must email both the program leader and ndsu.studyabroad@ndsu.edu to indicate your withdrawal.
 



ARCH/LA 371, Architecture and Landscape Architecture Design Milwaukee/Chicago/Minneapolis, September 7 - 11, 2021

Students that have been approved to participate in the ARCH/LA 371 Architecture and Landscape Architecture Design Milwaukee/Chicago/Minneapolis will have no additional course fee for the fall 2021 semester. By completing the application in full, students are committing to participating in the program and will be responsible for the full program cost within 7 days of submitting the application. Within 7 days of submitting your application, if you no longer plan to attend you must email both the program leader and ndsu.studyabroad@ndsu.edu to indicate your withdrawal.
 



ARCH 471, Architectural Design V Miami/Chicago, September 7 - 13, 2021

Students that have been approved to participate in the ARCH 471 Architectural Design V Miami/Chicago will have $300 course fee billed to their student accounts during fall 2021 semester. By completing the application in full, students are committing to participating in the program and will be responsible for the full program cost within 7 days of submitting the application. Within 7 days of submitting your application, if you no longer plan to attend you must email both the program leader and ndsu.studyabroad@ndsu.edu to indicate your withdrawal.
 



ANTH 496/695, Red Cliff Archaeology Field School, June 26 - August 8, 2021

Students that have been approved to participate in the ANTH 496/695 Red Cliff Archaeology Field School will have $200 course fee billed to their student accounts during summer 2021 semester. By completing the application in full, students are committing to participating in the program and will be responsible for the full program cost within 7 days of submitting the application. Within 7 days of submitting your application, if you no longer plan to attend you must email both the program leader and ndsu.studyabroad@ndsu.edu to indicate your withdrawal. Preference is given to NDSU seniors in the event of the program exceeding the capacity of 10.

Students that have been approved to participate in the LA 471/789 NYC and Baltimore Study Tour will have $500 course fee billed to their student accounts during fall 2021 semester. By completing the application in full, students are committing to participating in the program and will be responsible for the full program cost within 7 days of submitting the application. Within 7 days of submitting your application, if you no longer plan to attend you must email both the program leader and ndsu.studyabroad@ndsu.edu to indicate your withdrawal.
