The Meknès Language, Culture and Society academic year program provides students with little or no Arabic or French language experience the opportunity to choose among courses taught in English. Students may select courses in subjects such as history, culture, architecture, arts, religion, politics, gender studies, and more.
Additionally, students are required to participate in at least one Arabic or French language course per semester at the beginning, intermediate or advanced level.

Academic year students will begin their program in Granada, Spain where they will experience a multi-day orientation excursion before traveling across the Strait of Gibraltar to their host city of Meknès.
Minimum Grade Requirement
Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.75

The cost for participating in this affiliate program is determined by the provider and the estimate is listed on their website. You are also required to pay a small amount of student fees to NDSU for the term in order to be registered as a full-time student (or 3-6 credits for summer), but NDSU tuition is waived for the time of your participation. You are responsible for the additional costs for the application and course fees, airfare, housing and other living expenses if they are not included in the cost by the provider.
