Students participating in the Intensive Chinese Language program at East China Normal University will take a full course load of Mandarin language courses which will including speaking, reading, and listening components. All language levels are available, from absolute beginner to advanced, and a placement exam will be given at the start of each semester.
Minimum Grade Requirement
Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50
Minimum Admissions Prerequisites
There is no language prerequisite for this program
East China Normal University will only admit non-Chinese citizens. Students who hold a passport from Mainland China (PRC), Taiwan (ROC), Hong Kong, or Macau are not eligible for this program
Course placement is often based on a placement test administered on-site

The cost for participating in this affiliate program is determined by the provider and the estimate is listed on their website. You are also required to pay a small amount of student fees to NDSU for the term in order to be registered as a full-time student (or 3-6 credits for summer), but NDSU tuition is waived for the time of your participation. You are responsible for the additional costs for the application and course fees, airfare, housing and other living expenses if they are not included in the cost by the provider.
